Dumplings with apple and cinnamon
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Apple dumplings can be made any time of the year. Preparing this delicious dish isn't particularly complicated, so even beginner cooks will manage it easily. The most important thing, of course, is the base—the dough. I make mine with sour cream and recommend you try it too. The dough turns out soft, tender, and elastic. The apples should be chopped any way you prefer—either sliced or grated—and sprinkled with sugar. To prevent the apple juice from leaking, don't roll the dough too thin and seal the edges carefully. Good luck! Serve hot.

Step 10

If you have prepared dumplings for later, put them in the freezer. If you want to cook them right away, pour water into a pot, add a little salt, and bring to a boil. Gradually drop the dumplings into the boiling water. Gently stir to prevent them from sticking to the bottom. Once the dumplings float to the surface, cook for another five minutes, then remove them.
