
Dumplings with cottage cheese and herbs

The recipe won't take much time. Vareniki, one could say, are a popular and universally loved dish. They are always delicious, filling, and inexpensive. Preparing them is very easy, especially with a cottage cheese filling, which is practically ready to use. Your only task is to finely chop the herbs and mix them with the cottage cheese. It turns out very tasty—give it a try. Serve hot.

Prepare the ingredients for vareniki.

Knead the dough. Put flour and salt into a bowl.

Pour in refined sunflower oil.

Gradually pour in hot water, but not boiling water.

Knead a fairly firm yet elastic and tender dough. Cover it with a towel and let it rest for 15–20 minutes.

While the dough is resting, prepare the filling for the dumplings. Place the cottage cheese in a bowl.

Mix the cottage cheese with herbs. You can add a little salt.
