Recently I visited a friend, and she treated me to dumplings. I couldn't figure out for a long time what exactly the filling was—it was so incredibly tender. As it turned out, my friend decided to experiment a bit and made homemade dumplings with cottage cheese and potatoes. At first, this combination might seem unusual, but once you try these dumplings, you'll immediately realize how delicious and perfect it is. So don't be afraid to try something new, and prepare a tasty meal for your whole family using this simple recipe for cottage cheese and potato dumplings.

    Pour the milk into a saucepan and place it over heat. Add sugar and salt to the milk. Once the milk comes to a boil, turn off the heat, pour in the vegetable oil, then gradually add the flour in small portions, mixing everything thoroughly.

    Then wait for the dough to cool, add an egg to it; if it turns out not thick enough, sprinkle in a little more flour.
