Dumplings steamed in a multicooker

60 min4 serv.19 февр. 2026 г.

Description

I rarely boil dumplings because I'm used to steaming them—they turn out fluffier, softer, and the filling doesn't leak out. Since my husband recently gifted me a multicooker, I decided to try making this dish in it, and now I'll show you how to make steamed dumplings in a multicooker. The dough I'm suggesting here works well for sweet fillings, such as berries or fruits, since we'll be adding sugar to it. With this simple recipe for steamed dumplings in a multicooker, you can make a delicious treat for your kids or for yourself.

First, place the cottage cheese in a bowl, add baking soda, and rub everything together with your hands. Set the bowl aside for 10 minutes. Separately, beat the eggs with sugar. Combine the cottage cheese mixture with the egg mixture, mix well, then gradually add flour. Knead a soft and elastic dough, similar to that used for regular dumplings.
