Winter Apple Jam
Description
This is a simple recipe for making winter apple jam. All you will need to prepare it is apples, sugar, water, and citric acid. I recommend starting to cook in the evening, as the apples need to sit with the sugar for at least 10 hours. Also, prepare sterilized jars and lids in advance, as well as a place to store the jam. Have a nice day. Store in a cool, dark place.
Instructions

Step 1

Prepare a bowl of acidulated water (using citric acid). Wash the apples thoroughly, remove the cores, and cut into slices. Then place them in the bowl of water for 20 minutes (but no longer) so the apples do not turn brown.

Step 2

Remove the apples from the basin and transfer them to the container in which you will cook the jam. Sprinkle sugar on top; it is best to do this in the evening and leave until morning.

Step 3

In the morning the apples will look like this.

Step 4

Place the container with apples over heat, bring to a boil, and cook for another 10 minutes. Remove from heat and let them cool.

Step 5

Return the cooled jam to the heat, bring to a boil, then cook for another 15 minutes and remove from the heat. With the cooled jam, repeat the same procedure a third time.

Step 6

Divide the finished jam among jars and seal them.
