Five-Minute Apple Jam
Description
Homemade winter preserve. Besides its pleasant taste, the jam will also delight you with its appetizing appearance. The apple slices stay whole, yet they become tender, juicy, and literally melt in your mouth. Five-Minute apple jam is best made in aluminum or stainless steel cookware. Any apples will work; the only difference is how much sugar to use. For tart apples, use sugar in a 1:1 ratio to the apples. For sweet varieties, you can reduce the amount by almost half. The recipe is simple—keep it in mind. The preserve is ready for winter storage.
