Seedless Grape Jam

Description

A simple preservation recipe. You can make jam from any berries and fruits: strawberries, raspberries, apples, pears, plums, and so on. But if you are tired of all those options and want something unusual, I will tell you how to preserve seedless grape jam. It is an incredibly delicious treat of golden, sunny color; in winter it will not only lift your spirits with its juicy flavor but also fill your body with vitamins. Any variety of white grapes will work for this jam—you can buy them already seedless, or you can simply remove the seeds by hand; it is very easy. At the end we will add a little liqueur to our treat; it will give it a wonderful aroma and a pleasant almond note. In short, I recommend that everyone make seedless grape jam at home; on a cold autumn or winter day you will be very happy to open a jar of this deliciousness.

First, pick the berries off the branches, rinse them under cold water, cut them in half, and remove the pits.

Place the cleaned grapes in a saucepan, sprinkle them with sugar, pour over the juice of one lemon, and refrigerate for 4 hours.

When the time has elapsed, pour the amaretto into the saucepan and place it over the heat. Cook the jam for 20 minutes after it comes to a boil. Then remove from the heat and let the jam cool. Return it to the stove and cook for another 20 minutes. If the jam is still a bit runny after this, repeat the procedure once more.

When the jam reaches the desired consistency, turn off the heat and pour the hot jam into sterilized jars. Seal them with lids, turn upside down, cover with a blanket, and leave until completely cooled. Store the finished jam in a cool, dark place.
