
Pumpkin and Lemon Jam
Description
First, cut the pumpkin, sprinkle with sugar, and let it release its juice. Then add lemon, cut into pieces, or lemon juice. Cook for 40 minutes, then divide among sterilized jars and seal. Good luck! Jars can be stored for up to a year in a cool place.

Let's prepare the ingredients. Please note that the pumpkin weight given is net weight, without the skin and seeds.

Wash the pumpkin, peel it, and remove the inner fibers and seeds. Cut into small cubes.

Place in a saucepan and sprinkle with sugar. Leave for 3–4 hours to release the juice.

After 4 hours, take the lemon. Wash it, cut it in half, and squeeze out the juice.

Strain the juice from the pits so nothing unwanted gets into the jam.

Pour the lemon juice into the pumpkin. Bring the jam to a boil, then simmer at a very gentle boil for 40–45 minutes.
