Description

A simple way to make preserves ahead of time. If you have a multicooker, you can make your life much easier—this applies both to everyday dishes and seasonal ones. Take jam, for example: you can certainly make it on the stovetop, but think how much effort you’ll spend constantly stirring it and checking whether your preserve has burned. With a multicooker it’s different—no hassle. Just put all the ingredients together, select the right mode, and in the end you get an excellent result. With this simple blackcurrant jam recipe in a multicooker you’ll make an incredibly tasty, fragrant, and quite thick treat that will warm you on winter evenings and lift your spirits. So if you’re the happy owner of such wonderful equipment, it won’t be difficult at all to make blackcurrant jam in a multicooker at home. 1) First, sort through the blackcurrants, rinse them thoroughly, and put them in the multicooker bowl. 2) Now pour the sugar into the bowl; since blackcurrant is a tart berry, I add quite a lot of sugar, but you can reduce the amount—it’s a matter of taste. 3) So all the ingredients are assembled; we turn on “Stewing” mode and set the time to 1.5–2 hours—the longer you cook it, the thicker the jam will be. 4) After the beep, divide the hot jam among sterilized jars and seal them with lids. Such fragrant jam is not only good with tea but also for various baked goods, so feel free to experiment, and bon appétit. The preserve is ready for winter storage.
