1. Rinse the rose hips and remove any small debris. Add them to the slow cooker bowl together with the sugar. Set to Stewing mode for one and a half hours.

2. Puree the orange in a blender with the peel, but without the seeds.

3. Add water and orange puree to the slow cooker. Continue stewing. Slightly swollen rose hip berries can be mashed with a potato masher or you can remove all the pits separately.
