Quick Peach Jam
Description
A simple way to prepare ahead. Here is a classic recipe for quick peach jam. For tender jam, pour boiling water over the peaches, peel them, and only then start cooking. If you are using firm fruit for canning, it is best to cook a sugar syrup first; otherwise the peaches may not release enough juice and the jam may scorch. By the way, berries and fruits cooked in sugar syrup hold their shape better. Good luck with your preparation. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.
