Jam from Frozen Sea Buckthorn
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. I highly recommend making sea buckthorn jam from frozen berries at home. Even though the berries are frozen, the flavor of the treat doesn’t change. I make it every season, and my family is always happy with it.

Step 3

3. Pour the sugar into hot water, bring to a boil, and reduce the heat. Cook the syrup until the sugar has completely dissolved.

Step 4

4. Strain the hot syrup through cheesecloth, then bring the syrup back to a boil and remove from the heat. Pour the syrup over the berries and let the jam stand for 4 hours. After it has cooled, bring the mixture to a boil again and cook until done. When finished, sea buckthorn jam will have a clear appearance.
