Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. I present a classic recipe for wild rowan berry jam that has been known since ancient times. The result is a delicious treat and, most importantly, an incredibly healthful one. This berry is a treasure trove of vitamins, and in jam made to this recipe it does not lose its beneficial properties. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.

Step 1

1. To make rowan berry jam at home, I always use fresh rowan berries, while my mother-in-law uses frozen ones as well. So, first pick the berries off and soak them for 10 minutes. After that, wash the berries thoroughly and drain them in a colander.
