Strawberry Jam Without Cooking
Description
Winter preserve made at home. For this strawberry jam to keep in your refrigerator all winter without spoiling, you only need to follow a few basic rules, namely: 1. Use only fresh berries, picked in clear weather. 2. It is very important that all utensils that come into contact with the jam and the jars you plan to seal it in are sterile and dry. Store in a cool, dark place.

Step 1

Sort through fresh, clean, and dry strawberries, discard spoiled berries, and remove the stems. Then rinse the strawberries again, wait until all the liquid has drained off, and immediately after that scald the berries with boiling water. Don't forget to dry the strawberries after this. Now take a bowl of adequate size (which should also be scalded and dried beforehand), and pour the prepared berries into it. Sprinkle them with sugar, and be sure to mix thoroughly so the sugar is evenly distributed over the berries.

Step 2

Now take a blender and puree the berries until perfectly smooth. Also remember to prepare the containers for storing our jam. So sterilize the jars and dry them.

Step 3

Divide the strawberry mixture among the jars and seal with lids. Store this jam in the refrigerator. It can keep for quite a long time, but you probably won’t be able to resist eating it within the next month.
