Cranberry Jam with Honey
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. In general, you can edit this cranberry jam on honey recipe however you like. The original had only honey and berries, but it turned out a bit too tart. And you should want to recharge with vitamins! So I also added sugar. As for honey for this simple cranberry jam on honey recipe, linden or floral honey works best. That honey is the most aromatic and fragrant; it will pass its aromatic nuance through the whole jam! Try it — in winter with tea it will be delicious. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Wash the cranberries and remove any small debris. Sprinkle with sugar and cook over low heat until the juice begins to release.

Step 2

2. When the berries have softened in their own juice, gently press and mash them into a purée—preferably with a spatula (this helps keep the juice from splashing too much). It's fine if some berries stay whole.

Step 3

3. Cook the jam down until thick, then add the honey and stir quickly — the consistency will become slightly runny again.

Step 4

4. Transfer to sterilized jars and seal for winter storage! Or you can cool the jam and serve it right away while it's freshly made!
