Kiwi and Apple Jam
Description
Perfect for stocking up for winter. I'll share a recipe for making kiwi and apple jam at home. You'll need: kiwi, apples, sugar, lemon, and water. The unusual pairing of kiwi and apples gives the jam an unmatched flavor and aroma. A note on the apples: if yours are sweet, you won't need more than 1 kg of sugar. If they're on the tart side, use about 1.5 kg of sugar. Good luck!
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Wash the apples and peel them, then cut into small wedges.
- 2
Step 2

Peel the kiwi as well and cut into small slices.
- 3
Step 3

Transfer the fruit to a deep cooking pot and squeeze the juice of a whole lemon on top. This keeps the fruit from turning dark.

Step 4

Then add the sugar, pour in the water, and let the fruit stand for 1 hour (so they release their juice). After an hour, place the container with the jam mixture on the heat, bring to a boil, and cook for 25–30 minutes.

Step 5

After completing the procedures, let the jam cool. Then bring it to a boil again and turn off the heat. Pour the jam into sterilized jars.

The preparation is ready. Store in a cool place.
