Kiwi jam without sugar
Description
To make tasty sugar-free kiwi jam, add a few sweet apples to the jam—they will balance the sour taste of the kiwi (though that depends on the kiwi variety). 1. Wash the kiwi in cold water and peel them. Cut the peeled fruit into small pieces. 2. Wash the apples as well and cut them into small pieces or wedges. You can peel the apples if you like. 3. Put the kiwi and apples in a saucepan. If the kiwi are hard, pour 2 cups of drinking water into the saucepan. 4. Add gelatin and lemon juice to the saucepan. 5. Mix everything thoroughly. Bring the jam to a boil, reduce the heat to medium, and simmer for half an hour. 6. Let the jam cool and serve. If you want to put up jam for winter in large quantities, do the same steps, keep the proportions, but prepare storage jars ahead of time. Before pouring the cooled jam into the jars, sterilize them in boiling water. Store the jars in a cool place for up to a year.
