Five-Minute Honeysuckle Jam
Description
Winter preserve made at home. This is a five-minute honeysuckle jam — as the name suggests, it cooks very quickly, and thanks to that quick processing it keeps the maximum vitamins and flavor of fresh honeysuckle berries. That’s why I wholeheartedly recommend this preserving method. Shall we begin? 1. First, sort through the berries, wash them, and remove any debris and leaves. 2. In a deep saucepan, crush the berries into a pulp with a masher. The main thing is not to use cookware that can oxidize. 3. Gradually add the sugar, stirring constantly. 4. Put the saucepan on the heat and stir until the mixture is uniform. 5. All that’s left is to keep it on the heat until all the sugar has dissolved. Done! Now pour the jam into dry sterilized jars and seal for winter storage. Store upside down until completely cool, then keep in a dry, dark place. In winter, open a jar and enjoy the fresh summer aroma of the berries. Now you know how to make five-minute honeysuckle jam, and in winter you can add it to tea or serve it as a dessert. The preserve is ready for winter storage.
