Description

Perfect for stocking up for winter. Even a beginner can make pear jam with lemon at home. Peel the pears, grate the lemon zest, and squeeze out its juice. Cook the pears with the zest and lemon juice, then blend with a blender (if you don’t want chunks) and mix with sugar and pectin. Cook a little longer and pour into jars. Done. Store in a cool, dark place.

    1. Wash the pears, peel them, and cut into pieces; place in a saucepan. Split the vanilla pod in half, scrape out the seeds with a knife, and add to the saucepan as well. Wash the lemon, zest it, then cut in half and squeeze the juice from half the lemon through a strainer into the saucepan. Add all the zest as well. Add water, stir, and simmer over low heat for one hour after it comes to a boil.
