Pear Jam with Sliced Pears
Description
A simple canning recipe with no extra fuss. Pear slice jam is very easy to make. Slice the pears, add sugar, let them stand, then cook for 20 minutes. The jam must be sterilized. Instead of lemon juice, you can slice a lemon and add it. Good luck with your cooking. Serve at the table or store in the pantry.

Step 1

1. Wash the pears. Prepare a bowl, pour 3–4 cups of water into it, and add 2–3 tablespoons of lemon juice. Peel the pears (if you wish and if the skin is thick) and cut into wedges. Place the pears in the lemon water. Then drain in a colander and transfer to an empty bowl. Add the remaining lemon juice, sugar, honey, and vanilla pod. Mix, cover with plastic wrap, and leave for two hours or overnight.
