Physalis jam in a multicooker
Description
A simple way to stock up for later. In winter, you often crave something tasty — you can't treat yourself to sunshine, but sweets are always welcome! Brew some tea, take a fresh bun, and open a jar of fragrant physalis jam. Let the winter evening become pleasant, bright, sweet, and sticky, just like the jam. Invite friends over for tea and treat them to this delicious delicacy. To make such gatherings possible in winter, you'll have to put in some work in summer and cook the jam. It's easy to make — just follow the step-by-step instructions and you'll succeed. 1. To prepare this physalis treat, carefully sort the berries. I use strawberry physalis, but I prepare it beforehand. 2. If you have a little time, pierce each berry with a needle, then let them "swim" in a container of water. 3. Let the physalis sit in the water for a while, then drain the water. 4. Put the berries in the slow cooker, add sugar and a little water. 5. Select the "Jam" or "Preserve" program on your device and wait for the allotted time. 6. After cooking, seal the jam in jars and enjoy it during the cold season. The jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.
