
Cherry Jam with Peanuts
Description
A simple way to make preserves ahead of time. As you can see, this cherry and peanut jam recipe is actually not difficult—the only tedious part is first removing the pits from all the berries, then stuffing them with nuts. Otherwise, this classic cherry and peanut jam recipe is every bit as good as the ordinary kind. It’s just much more original and tastier.

1. Prepare the ingredients. Wash the cherries and remove the pits, trying to keep the berries whole.

2. Stuff with crushed peanuts.

3. In a glass of water over heat, melt a kilogram of sugar with vanilla and lemon juice. Then add the berries.

4. Now bring to a boil, remove from heat, let cool, then bring to a boil again. Do this three times. Add lemon slices.

5. Once the jam has boiled again with the lemon, seal it immediately in sterile jars while still hot.
