Orange Jam in a Multicooker
Description
You can make orange jam in a slow cooker at home using several modes. The process takes me no more than an hour, and the result is an incredibly delicious treat that even picky gourmets will appreciate. Jars keep for up to a year in a cool place.

Step 1

1. So, making orange jam in a multicooker at home is not only simple but also quick. Thanks to modern appliances, making this kind of dessert is pure pleasure! To start, peel the oranges. Many people make jam from half-slices with the peel still on; I personally peel the oranges completely and make jam from the pulp (so the rind doesn’t add bitterness).

2. This is what they look like before they need to be cut. I usually cut the fruit into small pieces.

Step 3

3. Sprinkle the oranges with sugar and let stand for 30 minutes. During this time they will soak up the syrup well and release their juice. Before placing them in the bowl, stir thoroughly. Then select the "Steam Cooking" program. As soon as the syrup comes to a boil, turn off the slow cooker immediately and let the jam cool slightly. Repeat this procedure twice.

Step 4

4. That's it — let the jam cool slightly, then spoon it into sterilized jars. I usually wrap the jars and leave them for a day until fully cooled, then move them to the pantry or cellar.
