Orange and Lemon Jam
Description
Homemade preserves keep well for a long time. Orange and lemon jam is a sunny treat with a bright citrus flavor and a light tang. It not only lifts your spirits in winter but also pairs wonderfully with toast, pancakes, cottage cheese, or can be added to baked goods as a fragrant filling. You can make this jam in small batches, since oranges and lemons are sold in stores year-round.

Before you begin cooking, wash the lemons and oranges thoroughly.
- 2
Step 2

Place the lemons and oranges in a large bowl, pour boiling water over them, and let stand for 5 minutes.

- 5
Step 5

Place pieces of oranges and lemons in the syrup.

In the morning, the jars of jam can be sent to storage in the pantry.
