Cherry Plum Jam in a Multicooker
Description
Homemade preserves keep for a long time. Cherry plum trees bear juicy, flavorful fruit that works well for all kinds of preserves, including jam. If you have a small family and only want a couple of jars of this treat, here is a simple cherry plum jam recipe for the slow cooker.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Gather all the ingredients on the table for convenience.
- 2
Step 2

Sort through and rinse the cherry plums.
- 3
Step 3

Then pour water into a small saucepan and place it on the heat. As soon as the liquid comes to a boil, add the cherry plums to the saucepan and leave them in the boiling water for 5 minutes.
- 4
Step 4

When the skin on the fruits begins to crack, drain the water from the plums and cover the fruits with cold water. After a couple of minutes, you can drain the liquid and, if necessary, remove the pits from the fruits, but you can also make the jam with the pits still in.
- 5
Step 5

Sprinkle it with sugar and mix everything. Select the "Bake" mode and set the time to 40 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

When the jam is ready, the multicooker will beep.
- 7
Step 7

Sterilize the jars and lids in advance using your usual method. Pack the jam into the pre-sterilized jars and seal them tightly with the lids.
- 8
Step 8

Turn the jars upside down, cover with a warm blanket, and leave for 24 hours to cool.
- 9
Step 9

Then transfer the jars with the finished cherry plum preserve to a cool place for storage.
