
Boiled Pork Brisket at Home

Perfect for the table and with drinks. Homemade pork belly can be served at any festive table and, of course, on weekdays. The recipe is very simple, and the result is simply amazing. The meat turns out aromatic, tender, soft, and very tasty. A great substitute for sausage as a sandwich snack. Serve the appetizer at the table.

Prepare the ingredients for cooking pork belly.

Pour water into a pot. Add black peppercorns, salt, and a bay leaf. Bring the water with the spices to a boil.

Wash the pork belly and place it in hot water with spices.

Cover the pot with a lid and cook the pork belly until tender over low heat.

Cool the cooked brisket in the broth to room temperature. Then remove it from the broth. Rub with ground red pepper and minced garlic. Wrap the brisket tightly in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 7–8 hours, or preferably overnight.

Take the chilled brisket out of the refrigerator and slice it. Serve at the table with mustard, horseradish, and spicy sauces.
