
Vanilla pancakes
Description
The pastry is prepared simply and quickly. Such pancakes can be made with a natural vanilla pod — if you have one, the pastry will turn out even more aromatic! If not, then cook with vanillin or vanilla sugar, it will also be tasty and fragrant. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

Prepare all the necessary ingredients.

Crack an egg into a suitable bowl, add sugar, vanilla sugar, and salt. Mix with a whisk.

Pour in the warm kefir and stir.

Add the sifted flour and mix thoroughly.

At the very end, we sift baking soda into the batter and quickly, but thoroughly, mix it so that the soda is evenly distributed.

Here, look at what the dough should look like in the end. If you scoop it up with a spoon, it will drip very slowly.

Heat the frying pan well and pour in some of the oil. Place the batter into the well-heated oil. One full tablespoon of batter is used for each pancake. Fry on both sides, about a couple of minutes per side. The heat should be moderate.

Place the fried fritters on a paper towel to remove excess oil.
