Waffles with cream
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Long ago, waffles were considered a dish for poor people, as they were made from leftover ingredients (flour and water). In the 16th century, waffles became popular worldwide, and only wealthy people could afford to enjoy them at that time. Today, waffles with cream are a delicious treat, best made at home to delight your loved ones. The filling can be any cream. Many people love condensed milk as a filling, but have a look. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions

Step 1

1. A simple recipe for making homemade waffles with a soft and airy cream. We will need margarine, which should be melted.
- 2
Step 2

2. Heat it in a water bath, but do not boil! It should just melt.
- 3
Step 3

3. Take two eggs and start beating them with a mixer at full power until a thick foam forms.
- 4
Step 4

4. Add flour and melted margarine to the eggs. At the end, add a little sugar (you can use regular sugar instead of vanilla sugar). Another secret: if you want your waffles to be crumbly and extra crispy, add starch in equal proportion with the flour.

Step 5

5. The dough should turn out slightly thicker than pancake batter (like sour cream).
- 6
Step 6

6. Heat the waffle maker and pour one heaping tablespoon of batter onto the hot surface. Close and bake for about several minutes (depending on the power of your waffle maker).
- 7
Step 7

7. Roll the ready hot waffles into a "tube" or "envelope" shape and let them cool.
- 8
Step 8

8. Meanwhile, beat the egg whites with sugar until fluffy; this will be our cream.
- 9
Step 9

9. Fill our rolls. They can be served immediately.
