Description

The bake comes together simply and quickly. The waffles turn out soft, porous, and very tasty. If you like, you can add lemon or orange zest to the batter. I served them at the table ready-made, drizzled with runny honey—incredibly delicious. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    In a large bowl, pour in the milk, crack in the egg, add vegetable oil, sugar, and salt. Whisk everything together with a whisk.
