Classic waffles
Description
The great thing about this recipe is that the waffles don't become soft after cooling. Once cooled, they turn crispy. I recommend serving the waffles cooled. This batter can also be used to prepare other desserts. For example, you can serve ice cream scoops or a fruit assortment in a waffle cone. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Bake the waffles on an electric waffle maker in the usual way. About 1.5 tablespoons of batter, or 1 heaping tablespoon, is used for 1 waffle.

You can brown the waffles to your liking. I like my waffles well-browned.
