Waffles

Description

Perfectly pairs with tea and coffee. Using convenient kitchen appliances always saves time and makes cooking easier. I suggest preparing the dough in a bread machine, and baking the waffles in a waffle maker. The waffles turn out fluffy, tender, and very delicious. Serve warm or chilled. Ideal with tea.

Instructions

   Step 1

   In the bread machine bowl, combine the flour, egg, warm milk, sugar, melted butter, yeast, vanilla sugar, and salt, then set the "Dough" mode for 1 hour. If you don't have a bread machine, knead the dough by hand and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour.

   Place 1-2 tablespoons of batter into the waffle maker and bake the waffles for 3 minutes, or until golden brown.

   Serve waffles with jam, preserves, condensed milk, or whipped cream.
