Waffle rolls
Description
Delicious pastries for the whole family. This is truly a very tasty treat, and I remember going crazy over these rolls as a child, constantly asking my mom to buy me this sweet delight. Then my grandmother bought a waffle iron, and every weekend I eagerly anticipated our visits to her place, knowing there would be waffles. Actually, not much has changed since then—I still adore these fragrant, delicious rolls to this day, except now I make them myself and am happy to share with you this simple recipe for waffle rolls. The dough here is very basic, and the filling consists of just three ingredients, so all that's left is to gather a bit of patience. This step-by-step photo recipe for waffle rolls will help you quickly and easily master the process. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, prepare the dough. Take a deep bowl and crack the eggs into it, then add the sugar.
- 2
Step 2

Thoroughly rub everything until a homogeneous mass is formed.
- 3
Step 3

Then add the sifted flour.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything again. Our dough is ready and its consistency will be quite liquid, about like pancake batter.
- 5
Step 5

Turn on the waffle maker and grease its surface with vegetable oil.
- 6
Step 6

Now pour about 1.5 tablespoons of batter onto the waffle iron grid and spread it evenly over the entire surface.
- 7
Step 7

Close the waffle maker, press the handles together, and hold for 1.5–2 minutes. As soon as the steam stops coming out of the waffle maker, the waffle is ready.
- 8
Step 8

Now you need to work very quickly, as the waffle hardens and sets fast. Remove it from the waffle iron and quickly roll it into a tube.
- 9
Step 9

Repeat this procedure until the dough is used up.
- 10
Step 10

All the waffles are baked, and we can now proceed to the filling. Spread the peanuts on a baking sheet and roast them for a few minutes in a preheated oven at 180 degrees. As soon as they turn golden, take them out and remove the shells.
- 11
Step 11

Place the peanuts in the blender bowl and grind them.
- 12
Step 12

Place the condensed milk and softened butter into a separate bowl.
- 13
Step 13

Beat everything with a mixer until smooth.
- 14
Step 14

Now add the peanuts (not all, reserve some for garnish) and mix everything.
- 15
Step 15

Transfer the cream into a pastry bag and fill each tube with it.
- 16
Step 16

Dip the edges of the rolls into crushed peanuts.
- 17
Step 17

Now our little rolls are ready, and we can enjoy the taste familiar from childhood.
