Knots with bacon and cheese
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. Instead of bacon and cheese, you can make knots with any filling. Use ready-made or homemade dough for the base: shortcrust, puff, or yeast dough. It's best to eat the pastries right away, but if the knots have already cooled, reheat them in the microwave so the cheese becomes stretchy. Serve with tea or coffee.
