Instructions

Step 1

Add flour, a pinch of salt, sugar, yeast, egg yolk, butter, and milk to a bowl.
- 2
Step 2

On low speed, mix the ingredients for approximately 5 minutes. After 5 minutes, the dough will likely stick to the mixer hook. Stop, remove the dough from the hook, and mix for another 3 minutes (if it hasn't stuck, continue mixing for 3 minutes).

Step 3

Sprinkle a little flour on the work surface. Place the dough in the center and knead it by hand. Knead for about a minute, until the dough becomes smooth and velvety. Then transfer the dough to a bowl, cover with a terry towel, and let it rest in a warm place. This will take about an hour.

Step 4

After an hour, the dough should double in size.
- 5
Step 5

First, press the dough down to the bottom of the bowl to release the air, and then remove it.
- 6
Step 6

Divide the dough into 10 equal parts.
- 7
Step 7

Take a portion of the dough and roll it into a long "sausage".
- 8
Step 8

And, holding by the edges, tie a knot.
- 9
Step 9

Place the buns on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Cover with a towel and let rest for 20 minutes. Do not place them too close to each other.
- 10
Step 10

After 20 minutes, prepare the buns for baking. Brush them with egg mixed with water and sprinkle with salt and sesame seeds. Place in a preheated oven at 180°C and bake for about 30 minutes.
