Duck legs in a multicooker
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Here is a classic recipe for cooking duck legs in a multicooker. The legs are first seared, then baked (simmered) together with apples. It's best to use sweet apple varieties, although slightly tart ones are also fine—just make sure you enjoy the taste. The approximate cooking time depends on the multicooker; on average, the legs take 40–60 minutes to cook. Good luck! The finished dish is ready to serve.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Rinse the chicken drumsticks under cold water, then dry them with paper towels. Rub the drumsticks on all sides with a mixture of salt and pepper.
- 2
Step 2

The multicooker bowl should be preheated in "Frying" mode. Place the drumsticks into it and fry until golden brown. The meat fries in its own fat, which duck has in abundance.

Step 3

We wash the apples and cut them into large slices, removing the core.
- 4
Step 4

Add apples to the duck, mix well. Set the "Baking" mode for 35 minutes.

Step 5

The dish is checked for readiness very simply. If clear juice is coming out of the duck, it's done. If not, extend the cooking time by 10-15 minutes.

Step 6

Serve at the table.
