Roasted duck legs
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Everyone has probably heard more than once about the famous Peking duck. So I recommend you my own, more home-style and simple recipe—pan-fried duck legs with an "oriental" twist. Of course, you can fry them in a skillet, but then the marinade-glaze risks sliding off the duck, ending up as a burnt spot on the pan. Therefore, if you don't have an oven, you can place the grill rack directly on your stovetop! Even more delicious, though, is to cook this duck on a barbecue grill. Serve hot.
Instructions

Step 1

1. Wash the legs thoroughly, dry them, and remove any excess. You can even lightly pound each leg to make the finished dish more tender. Rub them well with salt. Place them in a pot.

Step 2

2. Mix the minced garlic and ginger with all the liquid ingredients. Pour this sauce over the chicken legs and let them marinate for at least 15 minutes, or preferably as long as possible.

Step 3

3. Now place them on the grill and sear each leg on all sides over an open flame. Periodically baste with the remaining glaze sauce.

Step 4

4. Periodically pierce the meat with a knife – if clear juice without blood appears, the dish is ready! I slice the cooked duck into pieces and serve it with green onions and soy sauce!
