
Duck breasts with sauce
Description
These chicken breasts are perfect for a romantic dinner. Just don't serve them with a heavy side dish—baked fruits are enough! Give it a try

Prepare the ingredients.

In a small saucepan, mix the lingonberry jam and freshly squeezed juice from a small orange. Add spices, a pinch of salt, and bring to a boil over low heat. Stir a couple of times, simmer for 1–2 minutes until the desired consistency is reached, then remove from heat. Let cool for 5 minutes and remove the spices.

Pat the duck breasts dry. Score the skin in a diamond pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat. Heat a spoonful of oil in a grill pan and place the breasts skin-side down. Cook over medium heat until a golden, crispy crust forms.

Flip the chicken breasts, reduce the heat slightly, cover with a lid, and cook for about 10 minutes. The inside of the chicken should remain pink.

Let the chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes after cooking. Serve with baked pears or apples, drizzling with some of the lingonberry sauce. Serve the remaining sauce on the side.
