
Pork Ears in the Oven
Description
A tasty appetizer for any gathering. Serve the pig ears after they have cooled. You can make a large batch and store them in a plastic container or transfer them to a bag. You can make a tasty tomato sauce or serve with ketchup. First the ears need to be boiled, then cut into strips and bake in the oven. Can be served warm or chilled.

1. Singe each ear, then wash and transfer to a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. As soon as it boils, add the spices (bay leaf, a pinch of paprika, curry, pepper blend, cloves) and a peeled half onion.

2. Boil the ears for 90–120 minutes after the water comes to a boil, then remove from the pot and let cool. Slice the cooled ears into strips.

3. Transfer the ears to a plate and add a little of all the spices that were added during cooking, as well as one clove of garlic grated on a grater and olive oil; mix everything well.

4. Line a baking sheet with foil, arrange the pig ears on it, then bake in an oven preheated to 200°C for 20 minutes.

5. Remove the finished ears from the oven and let cool.

6. You get little ears with a crispy, golden-brown crust.
