
Korean-Style Pig Ears
Description
Korean-style carrots or cabbage are everyone's favorite dishes. But Korean-style pig ears are something new and original. You can make just a little if you're unsure whether they'll be liked. You can make a large portion if you're expecting a lively crowd of guests.

Step 1

1. Wash the ears very thoroughly and shave off the hair. Place them in a pot, add onion, one clove of garlic, a pinch of coriander, a bay leaf, allspice berries, salt, and cover with water. Cook them for 120 minutes.

2. In a plastic or glass container, add peeled garlic cloves that have been passed through a press or grated, along with vinegar, vegetable oil, soy sauce, sugar, Korean-style spices, salt, and a pinch of coriander.

3. Thoroughly mix the aromatic spice mixture and set aside.

4. Cool the boiled ears, then cut them into pieces or strips.

5. Transfer the ears into a container with the spices, then mix well, cover with the lid, and refrigerate for 24 hours.
