Description
Perfect with tea and coffee. Colorful syrniki are ideal for serving at breakfast with aromatic coffee, tea, latte, etc. They can be prepared in advance and even frozen, then reheated in the microwave literally in 3–5 minutes under a special cover if you don’t have time to cook breakfast. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Buy cottage cheese that is not too moist.
- 2
Step 2

Place it in a deep bowl and crack a chicken egg into it. Add sugar and salt; if desired, add a couple of pinches of vanilla sugar or ground cinnamon. Thoroughly rub the contents of the bowl together.
- 3
Step 3

Add half of the wheat flour and mix thoroughly. The mixture should become pliable, like plasticine.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the remaining half of the flour onto a saucer or plate, form a small patty from part of the cottage cheese dough, wetting your hands in water. Coat the piece in wheat flour on all sides.
- 5
Step 5

Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan and fry the prepared pieces in it on both sides for 2–3 minutes over moderate heat. Make sure they do not burn, as they fry very quickly!
- 6
Step 6

Place the golden-brown syrniki on a plate and serve them immediately, brewing fragrant tea or coffee for breakfast.
