
Ukrainian vareniki with cottage cheese
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Making vareniki starts with preparing the dough, which can be a simple one made from water, flour, and eggs, or a boiled dough made from the same ingredients, as in this recipe. Then prepare the filling: season the cottage cheese with sugar to your taste, and you can also add raisins and cherries to the cottage cheese. Serve hot.

Prepare the ingredients.

Sift the flour and make a depression in it.

Add 0.5 teaspoon of salt to the flour.

Pour 25 ml of vegetable oil into 100 ml of boiling water.

Pour the boiling water with butter into the depression in the flour.

Then pour one egg into the dough.

Knead the dough well by hand until smooth for 10 minutes, then place it in a bag and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Meanwhile, prepare the filling.

Add sugar to the cottage cheese to taste and a pinch of salt. Blend with a blender until no lumps remain.
