The drink is quick and easy to prepare. And then it occurred to me that I had never made anything like this at home before. And my mom only made fruit compotes when I was a child, so everything was new to me. So I decided to find out more about it,

Divide the pumpkin into large pieces. Remove the seeds and pulp from them.

Cut the pulp into small cubes. Rinse them.

Pour enough water over the pumpkin in a large saucepan. Place it over heat. Cook until completely soft.

Turn the cooked pumpkin into purée directly in the pot with water.

Scald the lemons and oranges with hot water. Dry them, then remove the zest. Next, peel them and process the flesh through a meat grinder.

Add sugar, citrus zest, and citrus pulp to the pumpkin purée. Place the juice on the stove to simmer.

The sugar should dissolve completely. Then the juice should be diluted with water in a 3 to 1 ratio. In this consistency, it should be brought to a boil.

Pour the juice into sterilized jars. Seal them with lids. Place them upside down under a blanket to cool. Then they are ready to taste.
