
Pumpkin bread with nuts
Description
Tender bread with the aroma of cinnamon, ginger, and a sweet pumpkin flavor is incredibly delicious. The baked good is ready. Serve at the table.

1. Preheat the oven to 175 degrees. Coarsely chop the pecans if you are using them. Grease two loaf pans and dust them lightly with flour. Melt the browned butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until the butter turns dark amber, stirring occasionally, for about 6 minutes.

2. Beat brown sugar and butter in a large bowl.

3. Add eggs and pumpkin puree, mix well.

4. Add cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, and salt. Sift flour, baking soda, and baking powder together into another large bowl.

5. Gradually add the pumpkin mixture and stir. Mix with nuts, if using.

6. Divide the dough in half between the prepared bread pans. Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes. Using a sharp knife, remove the bread from the pan. Allow to cool completely on a wire rack. The bread can be wrapped in foil and frozen for up to 1 month.
