Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all ingredients according to the list.
- 2
Step 2

Combine the flour, sugar, vanillin, and salt. Mix.
- 3
Step 3

Add warm milk and pumpkin purée.
- 4
Step 4

Mix. Add melted butter and mix everything once more.
- 5
Step 5

Then knead the dough by hand. Knead the dough for at least 7–10 minutes. The finished dough should be soft and slightly sticky. Shape it into a ball, cover with a towel, and place in a warm spot for 40 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

The dough will increase in size.
- 7
Step 7

The risen dough should be kneaded well and left in a warm place for another 50 minutes.
- 8
Step 8

During this time, the dough will almost double in size.
- 9
Step 9

Roll out the dough into a rectangle no more than 7 mm thick. Brush the entire surface with soft butter and sprinkle with cane sugar mixed with cinnamon.
- 10
Step 10

Roll the dough into a roll and pinch the seam closed.
- 11
Step 11

Divide the roll into eight pieces and place them in a baking dish greased with oil or butter.
- 12
Step 12

Cover the pan with a towel and leave for 30 minutes. During this time the buns will increase in size. You can also arrange the buns on a baking sheet, but then they won’t be as tall.
- 13
Step 13

Bake at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes.
- 14
Step 14

In the meantime, prepare the frosting. Combine cream cheese, confectioners’ sugar, milk, and lemon juice. Mix thoroughly.
- 15
Step 15

While the buns are still warm, glaze them all over with icing. The pumpkin cinnamon rolls are ready.
- 16
Step 16

I recommend serving it right away. Incredibly delicious!
