
Pumpkin-Corn Bread
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. This bread looks similar to a pie. You can serve it with any dish; it tastes best with a bowl of hot soup or by dipping it into sauce. You can use fresh pumpkin or canned pumpkin puree. Don't forget to add aromatic spices that go well with pumpkin: nutmeg and cinnamon. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place a cast-iron skillet inside.

2. Place corn and wheat flour in a bowl, add salt, baking powder, pumpkin spice, and mix everything together with a whisk.

3. In a separate bowl, mix pumpkin puree, milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and sugar.

4. Remove the hot skillet from the oven and add the butter to it, swirling the pan to coat the bottom and sides with butter.

5. Add the liquid ingredients to the dry ones and mix well until a smooth batter forms.

6. Pour the batter into a hot cast-iron skillet, already greased with oil, and smooth out the mixture.
