
Pumpkin in the microwave
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The butternut variety is perfect for cooking pumpkin in the microwave. The bright flesh of this pumpkin has a pleasant, buttery, nutty flavor. Moreover, it holds its shape well during cooking, and the seeds of this variety are located at the bottom of the fruit. If you take a piece from the top part, you won't even need to bother removing the seeds! It's delicious, healthy, simple, and very quick. Serve chilled.

Prepare the ingredients.

Peel the pumpkin and slice it thinly. Place on a microwave-safe plate.

Place a glass of dried fruit mixture on top— I'm using golden raisins, apricots, and prunes. Prepare the dried fruits in advance: wash them thoroughly, pour boiling water over them, cover, and let steep for half an hour. Then drain and use.

Top the dried fruits and pumpkin with freshly squeezed lemon juice and sprinkle with cinnamon.

Bake the pumpkin covered at 800 W for 3 minutes. Let it stand without heating for another 2 minutes. Check the pumpkin's softness; if necessary, heat for a few more minutes at half power.

Let the cooked pumpkin cool slightly, then serve with sour cream. This pumpkin is also delicious when completely cooled.
