Description

The recipe won't take much time. The healing properties of cottage cheese are due to the presence of casein, which has excellent nutritional benefits and high nutritional value. This cottage cheese treat can be prepared for children as a second dinner or at any time during the day. Add fruits and berries to taste (as well as honey and sugar). Moreover, casein (milk protein) can replace animal protein, and the most important property of cottage cheese is promoting and strengthening bone tissue. Prepare this delicious dessert for your kids yourself in just 15 minutes. It's simple and quick. Serve chilled.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

    1. I prepare cottage cheese for my children using sour milk, homemade yogurt, or kefir. Of course, it's best to make this dessert from sour homemade milk (it yields little whey and lots of curds). But if you don't have it, you can use store-bought kefir. The fat content determines the amount of cottage cheese obtained.

    2. Pour the kefir into a container in which we will boil and place over heat. Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat with the lid closed for about 7 minutes.

    3. Kefir begins to turn into cottage cheese as soon as it heats above 50 degrees. It's better to cook it with the lid closed.

    4. Drain in a sieve and leave for 5 minutes, until the excess whey drains off and the curds cool down.

    Step 5

    5. You can use any fruits and berries you and your children like. Today we used strawberries (you can even use frozen berries). Add sugar to taste. If you don't have a blender, use a regular sieve.

    6. I really love my baby blender; it has served me faithfully for over a year. Now I only use it for making cottage cheese. To keep the cottage cheese from being too thick, add a little juice or boiled water (I even add some whey left over from cooking).

    7. This is the cottage cheese we get for children. The average yield is 150 grams (from 0.5 liters of kefir).
