Cottage cheese pie with plums
Description
The bake comes together simply and quickly. If the plums taste sour, you may need a little more sugar to balance the tartness. Taste the cottage cheese before adding it as well. Depending on the size of the eggs, you may need a little more wheat flour. Serve warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. For the cottage cheese, it is best to use a drier, less moist type (one that feels somewhat dry on the palate), not a wet one.
- 2
Step 2

Crack the chicken eggs into the food processor bowl, add salt and sugar, and beat for 4–5 minutes until light and fluffy. You can also use a mixer.
- 3
Step 3

Add the cottage cheese to the mixture and fold it in gently.
- 4
Step 4

Add the wheat flour and baking powder. Optionally, you can add vanilla sugar or another flavoring.
- 5
Step 5

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees, grease the pan with vegetable or butter. Spread the cottage cheese dough and level it. Pit the plums; if fresh, wash them. Place the plum halves on the dough and press them in lightly. Put the pan in the oven for 30 minutes.

Step 6

Check the finished pie with a wooden skewer. Remove the baking tin from the oven and let the dessert cool for about 1 hour.
- 7
Step 7

After that, remove from the pan, cut into pieces, and serve.
