Cottage cheese pie with grapes
Description
Don’t forget to brew fragrant tea when you serve such a colourful pie to the table. Don’t add too much grapes or cottage cheese, or the bake won’t be as fluffy and airy. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients listed. It is best to use white seedless grapes—they will not tint the dough when you bake the pie.
- 2
Step 2

Beat the chicken eggs in the bowl of a mixer or food processor, add salt and sugar. If desired, you can also add vanilla sugar. Whip for 4-5 minutes into a fluffy foam.
- 3
Step 3

Place cottage cheese of any fat content in the bowl and beat for 1 minute until it breaks into small pieces.
- 4
Step 4

Add the flour and baking powder and fold them in with a silicone spatula or a whisk, but do not beat the mixture, so you do not knock the air bubbles out of the batter. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
- 5
Step 5

Place the dough into a baking dish greased with vegetable oil. Wash the grapes and cut them in half if they are large. Arrange them on top of the dough and place the dish into the oven.
- 6
Step 6

Bake the pie for about 25–30 minutes until golden brown and test for doneness with a wooden skewer—it should come out of the batter dry.
- 7
Step 7

Remove the pie from the tin after letting it cool slightly, then serve.
