Strawberry cottage cheese pie in a multicooker
Description
Perfect for serving with tea and coffee. Baking in a multicooker is just as easy as in an oven, but if you don't have this wonderful appliance, you can use a conventional oven. The pie base is shortcrust pastry, which I make from scratch. If you don't have strawberries, use currants, raspberries, or even frozen berries.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

1. Put the butter in the refrigerator or freezer ahead of time. Grate the cold butter on a coarse grater into a bowl.
- 2
Step 2

2. Sift the flour, add it to the butter, and rub everything into crumbs (reserve 1-2 tablespoons of flour).
- 3
Step 3

3. Add sugar (5 tablespoons) to the dough, rub it in once again, knead the dough, and add a little cold water so that the dough holds together.
- 4
Step 4

4. Roll the dough into a ball, then wrap it in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
- 5
Step 5

5. Place the egg whites in a bowl, add the remaining sugar and vanilla, and whisk thoroughly with a whisk until a fluffy mixture forms.
- 6
Step 6

6. Rub the cottage cheese through a sieve and add it to the beaten egg whites, then add the flour and mix (you can add more sugar if desired).
- 7
Step 7

7. Wash the strawberries, remove the green stems, and cut the berries into 2-3 pieces.
- 8
Step 8

8. Divide the foil into several strips, then roll each one and place them crisscross in a circle in the multicooker bowl.
- 9
Step 9

9. Remove the dough from the refrigerator, roll it out to fit the multicooker form, leaving small edges, place it into the pot, and prick it with a fork to prevent it from puffing up.
- 10
Step 10

10. Spread the shortcrust base with jam, avoiding the edges.
- 11
Step 11

11. On top of the jam, place the cottage cheese beaten with egg white, and spread evenly in the pan.
- 12
Step 12

12. Finely chop a few strawberries, place the large berries on top of the cottage cheese, and add the chopped berries between the large ones.
- 13
Step 13

13. Bake the pie in "Baking" mode for 30 minutes; after the sound signal, open the lid and let it cool down.
